I disagree. Voting is not the fairest way to decide a trade. Let’s be honest, everyone is in it for themselves. If a player who is doing well in the standings gets themselves a juicy trade accepted and they’ve improved their team (even if it appears fair), human nature says that the majority of the other players will veto that trade to protect themselves. That is collusion by group veto.

Tdsback’s scenario above is one I’ve never thought about, and quite rightly would feel aggrieved by the process. However, I still believe that trades must only ever be vetoed by the commissioner if collusion occurs. Your example still feels like collusion.

If there's no signs of collusion, commish should always send the trade through. Like Dan says its not your job to police bad decision making, and if youre on a league that one or two managers have not set their line ups for more than 5 weeks then you need to find a new league, maybe a more competitive one hahahhah.

Everyone will veto because its a competition, managers make bad reads on fantasy players and ultimately make bad decisions. If someone offers you money you dont say no thanks I have some..

Ha c'mon man, you are honestly telling me that every league you have ever been in, the last place team has always set their roster the entire year?! Suggesting that my issue is because my leagues just "aren't competitive", feels fairly reductive. If you have honestly never experienced this, maybe you need to start a post about your successful strategies to incentivize terrible teams to continue playing when their whole teams get injured and they realize they have zero shot to win or make the playoffs. And That's kind of the point of all this and somebody just referenced it above as why voting is a really bad idea-- ultimately people really only care about winning themselves, not making things fair for the rest of the league. So when they decide they don't have a chance to win, they peace out. Ive Seen this in nearly every league ive ever been in, including some highly competitive ones. Maybe I've just had terrible luck, but I suspect others experience this as well.
