Here it is, the culmination of innumerable hours, a completed, overall, top 300 players for dynasty leagues. I’ve put this together after spending tens of hours on each position, searching, researching, reading, writing, ranking at least thirty players per position, including sixty outfielders and sixty starters, plus 100 prospects. All so we could get here, an all in one ranking source, the one source to use AFTER you’ve read through all of my positional rankings and have an understanding of what the top ten to twenty are the top ten to twenty.
A lot of blood, sweat and tears was poured out to get here (really just sweat and tears, tough to get bloody sitting at a keyboard), but I could not be happier with the outcome. This is the second year in a row I have produced the dynasty rankings for our draft guide and I think they are even better this year, especially with more experience under my belt and more time than I had last year (I think I did this in around 25 days last year, a little bit of an over promise and an over deliver), so having additional time this year made it a little bit stressful.
I did not do an individual designated hitter’s ranking, but that’s because the list would be like, what, five names, max? Shohei Ohtani, Marcell Ozuna, Brent Rooker, Kyle Schwarber, Joc Pederson. There you go, there’s the ranking. That’s the order you’ll find them in, in the top 300, as well, though not that close together (and, honestly, Pederson, in a platoon, might not even make the back-end of the top 300). Ohtani will be number one, obviously, because whether or not he pitches, he’s proven his bat alone is worth the 1st pick (and maybe the 2nd pick as well).
I will update these rankings throughout the season, as values change. Promotions, injuries, position changes, benchings, etc. we will try to update as often as is feasible.
If you want to yell at me, agree with me or just discuss the rankings or anything fantasy baseball (or video game, pop culture, TV, movie, book, etc.) related, hit me up on Twitter and/or Bluesky @akfantasybb.
So, without further ado, I present to you the AKDynasty 300 Overall Rankings. Enjoy!
