Hey Dan,
Two questions. 1) Who is a better "luxury" stash in your opinion richaun holmes or marqueese chriss. 2) Is Jeff Teague for Steven Adams a fair trade? Disregarding team needs, does each players value matchup? Thanks!
@Jonathan - Very close. I'd lean ever so slightly to Holmes if only because Embiid will probably get hurt at some point. That being said, Chriss is playing now (not well, but playing), so at least he can be used in an unlimited games format.
I think Teague will probably finish the year ahead of Adams, but yeah, that's fair at present!
Would you start greg Monroe tonight?!
9 cat roto
@am007 - Nah. Towns/Gibson is a tough match-up. I want to deploy him against some flimsier teams, at least until we see how the Suns are actually going to use him. He MIGHT go big tonight, but I'm okay with missing one to make sure I avoid some bad ones on either side. For the record, I sat him for the Pels game.
Dan, what are your thoughts on Batum ROS?
Received an offer or Batum + Jam Murray for j collins and j ingles... really not sure here.
Hey dan. 9cat h2h who would you rather have ROS will Barton or Reggie Jackson
Jrue holiday or Gary Harris? Who wins ? 9cat h2h 16team league
J rich, Tyler Johnson, jo Harris on the wire
I’ve got a bench of Millsap, Mirotic, Jarrett Allen, Holmes, Fox,
Struggling in fg%, blocks, rebounds, any of the guys worth picking up? I was thinking j rich and Johnson for the block potential from a guard but Harris most efficient!
What is the difference between must-own and must-add? Bruski just described Dieng in his weekly waiver wire piece as "must-own, but not must-add". How does one go about owning a player without first adding them?
Hi Dan!
Happy Cyber Monday! Apparently the deals are pouring into fantasy as well. I'm being offered Capella for Brook Lopez. Any reason NOT to jump on this asap? Thanks.
Also when in need of a PBJ sandwich, please list the top 5 jellies you would use.
hi Dan, thanks for taking my questions (2). im in a 12 team roto/9 cat league.
1. we have an IR spot and i've been using it for mirotic. Teodosic is sitting on our waiver wire. who is the better stash? if i dont move soon Teodosic will be picked up.
2. would you drop george hill to pick up Frank Ntilikina?
ooooo, lots of questions this morning! Lemme at 'em.
@Keiran - Batum, in my estimation, is overrated. He's a guy that gets you 3's, assists, steals and points, but I think with Dwight around, his rebounding numbers come down. His turnovers and FG% are horrific, and he may even finish this year below Ingles. Collins is an up-and-comer, and Jamal Murray is a scorer. I think I lean to the Ingles/Collins side, but if the Batum side swapped Murray out for someone in the top-100 I might reconsider.
@Brian - Jackson. Barton has some TO and % deficiencies that weigh his otherwise decent numbers down. Plus, he gets going when someone is hurt, mostly. Oddly, I bet you could get more trade value with Barton because of those juicy other numbers.
@mikey - Gimme Gary Harris and his magical efficiency numbers and huge steals. Jrue is a bit of a headache.
@am007 - I'm not buying the Jarrett Allen thing yet. He can't seem to get mins above 20, and it's damn near impossible to sustain value playing 12-15 mins per game. I'm also not sold on anyone in Sacramento, though Fox should get better as the season wears on. J-Rich needs an injury in Miami to break free, though Tyler Johnson is showing some SMALL signs of life lately. Your options are limited, but I'd definitely take either of those 2 Heat over Allen right now.
@huy - It's a fine line. Bru means to say that a guy like Dieng should be stashed somewhere, but not if it's going to cost you a valuable piece. So, don't necessarily go add him at the expense of someone else, but if you have an open slot, he should be in it. Though, I will still maintain that Dieng is a tough guy to own right now even with Bjelica hurt.
@Brian part deux - Yes, take Capela. He might be a sell-high and BroLo is a buy low, but I think Capela ends the year above Lopez, so this other team in your league is kinda messing up his premise. I mean, he's doing all the right things, but with the wrong pieces. You should take advantage of his confidence in Lopez's upward mobility. And in a moment of pure heresy, I eat my PB sandwiches with ONLY PB, and I eat 'em all the time. I used to bring white bread and regular PB on all my road trips as a traveling minor league broadcaster. Yep, I was the guy with a loaf of bread and peanut butter next to me on the team bus. Jelly just ruins it.
@walkingbucket - I'd lean Mirotic, but truth is we really don't know what Teodosic can do. It's hard to bust into the NBA and go big, but while he was out Beverley went down and Rivers has once again shown himself to, well, suck. We know what Niko can do, we just don't know if he's going to be turned loose to do it. Still, I'd go Niko. And on the second one, I don't want either of 'em right now. I hate the Kings. They're a disaster from a fantasy perspective, but Ntilikina probably doesn't produce until February. Find someone else.
Thanks for all the help Dan.
Would you drop:
JaMy. Green for L.Nance?
J-Rich for Olynyk?
Millsap for Mirotic?
Chriss is also available.
I going to drop Ntilikina.
Sorry to repeat, need boards, assists. Some threes.
Thank you.
@Joseph - Nance over Green
Millsap (unless it's an unlimited games format, in which case you sorta can't stash anyone)
Olynyk over Rich
And basically all of those dudes producing over Ntilikina
Hey Dan...I'm trying to move Kuzma before his value potentially goes down. I'm eyeing Willie Caulie-Stein. I lose on three-pointers, but get about a steal and a block a game from WCS which are harder to find this year...and I think WCS is just getting going. Good offer, or should I keep Kuuuz?
