haha, my fault.

You really'll miss that first rounder cuz you need points in the worst way. Aalso punting 3s, FT and assists. So you really need points.

All the other cats look good (steals, rebs) to great (FG, TO, Blks)

Drafted September 28th!
10 Team (Hyper Competitive) H2H 11 cat (8-cat plus FGM, Oreb, & Ftm)

Had the 8th pick but I swapped a few around. I'm Full on PUNT FT% FYI

8- Steph Curry
13- Nikola Jokic
21- Andre Drummond
40- Jamal Murray (Empty Queue)
53- Dwight Howard
60- Deandre Ayton
61- Ricky Rubio
73- John Collins
88- Kyle Anderson
93- Jonathan Isaac
101- Wendell Carter Jr.
108- Niko Mirotic
113- Joe Ingles
128- (Dropped Tyus Jones) Streaming Nerlens Noel for opening night

Thoughts? I'm big heavy in terms of eligibility.

I have a trade on the table: Jokic, Murray & Ayton FOR Ben Simmons, CJ McCollum & Steven Adams...Should I do it? (Leaning no).

Thanks Chef, you're a beast!

I like Jrue.

And probably not for Embiid- the %s isn't that bad (trading Jrue will drop it a bit tho).

Except for the blocks punt, good to great counting stats (need a few more points when Portis slows down) and excellent FT.

Fg okay.

Jrue vs. CP is a judgement call man-- despite the extra games I probably wouldn't.

For roto, yeah, I'd go CP.

LOL, no problem to play around when no money on the line, though you went a lil overboard 🙂 --think WCJ was too high.

Very good blks and steals and decent FG but that's about it.

Punting pts, rebs and assists (though I think that's cuz the rookies have low projections).

Hey Drew,

blocks is weakest cat, then rebounds.

3s and FG strongest. Okay FT, Assist and Steals. Everything else is middle of the road.

I'd probably try to beef up big man stats unless you want to punt and just focus on guard stats.

Good steals and blocks with pretty good 3s and points.

Lowest cat is rebounds (depending on Robinson) with uninspiring percentages.

You'll probably want to see how Fultz does before you drop him but not that big on him. Ellington is probably best as a streamer imo.

Ha! No trades/ Sounds like my home leeg (everybody is too scared to get ripped off).

Great 3s, steals and FG. Good blocks.

Need points, assists and rebounds is your weakest cat (unless Willy snaps).

Fantastic Fg and blocks with good TOs.

Low FT and assists are your lowest cat. Need help everywhere else.

I'd punt assists and try to beef up other counting stats- 3s, points, rebs and steals.

Hard to point to a target before the season but aim for guys you like that get off to slow starts.

And Watch the waiver wire to pick up guys that are better than your end of bench guys like Green, Lin, etc.

I didn't say embiid though lmao. But huh, its weird I love and hate NY team at the same time. There's just no direction with where I should go. I've always focused on rebounding in the past due to the stability of it. I thought I did a good job of getting guards whk can rebound to offset the lack of major rebounders. Also ft% yeah. I thought the Jrue for Middleton trade would help with ft% without really hurting me.

12 Team 9 cat H2H

I try not to go into a draft with any plan except taking guys at a value and letting the draft come to me. At the end of the draft it appears that I ended up with a fairly well rounded team that unintentionally punted assists. Not surprising as my league typically goes bananas for assists all season. Looking forward it would appear to me that the best way to shore up my team would be to build up FG% and REB without tanking FT/STL.. not really too concerned with 3s as they grow on trees in todays nba. Curious to see what your thoughts are on a couple of things.

1) does your analysis of my team jive with my own?
2) am i better off letting Bell/Gordon types play out and see how it goes or make adds now for guys like Ariza, Nance, Portis, Dedmon, Hezonja (I am leaning more towards being patient and seeing what happens over first couple weeks of season, my league typically drops guys that have no business being dropped)
3) should i start shedding un-needed assists from guys like Barton/Ingles to trade for guys who may fit my "build" better ie Vucevic, Kanter, JV now or be patient... for reference based on Hoop-Ball projections if I add a guy like Dinwiddie I go from 11th in projected assists to 7th so I am not that far from being average

9 Anthony Davis No, PF $79
23 Victor Oladipo Ind, SG $50
60 Will Barton Den, SF $8
73 Hassan Whiteside Mia, C $20
82 Jarrett Allen Bkn, C $8
83 Jamal Murray Den, PG $13
102 Jordan Bell GS, C $2
110 Josh Richardson Mia, SF $7
111 Taurean Prince Atl, SF $1
116 Robert Covington Phi, SF $3
122 Joe Ingles Utah, SF $3
131 Eric Gordon Hou, SG $2
132 Buddy Hield Sac, SG $4

Thanks Chef

I'd probably take it cuz you need bigs.

It would be no problem to punt rebs and blks if you were stacked at guard stats but youre not.|

Fantastic FG and Steals, good turnovers and decent blocks.

Need 3s, pts, rebs and mostly assists so that's what I'd try to get.

Also not a fan of some bench guys like Len or Smart so watch out for waiver guys that are doing better.

Pick him up ASAP and drop Fultz.

Overloaded steals and blocks with very good FG.

Looks like a points punt (no good with KAT first) and very low 3s. Need some rebs and assists.

New keeper league, redraft every season, can only keep three players each season. Is there any upgrades you'd recommend from FA's? Which include: TJ Warren, Carmelo, JaVale, Jordan Bell, Reggie Jackson, Josh Hart, Hezonja, Gay, Lamb, Osman, Beverley, Pau Gasol. I have some pickups in mind, but interested in opinions first. Let me have it Chef... Please and thanks!

1. Giannis SF/PF

20. Booker PG/SG

21. Beal SG

40. Cousins PF/C (IL)

41. A. Gordon SF/PF

60. Ayton C

61. Dunn PG/SG

80. Adams C

81. Hield SG

100. Trae Young PG

101. De'Aron Fox PG

120. Rondae SF/PF

121. Kyle Anderson SG/SF

140. W. Hernangomez

12 Team 11 cat(9 cat + Free Throws Made + Fouls) H2H

Which wings should I package for a Center? I'm thinking of trading for Capela or Kanter.
Outside of Blks and FTM, I think I have a good shot of being in the mix for the 9 other categories.
Let me know what you think and thanks for all the hard work you've been putting in the forums!

PG Kyle Lowry
SG Jamal Murray
G Tim Hardaway Jr
SF Taurean Prince
PF Otto Porter Jr
F Willie Cauley-Stein
C Kevin Love
C Anthony Davis
U Elfrid Payton
U Darren Collison
B Kent Bazemore
B Patrick Beverley
B Bojan Bogdanovic
