Hey Chef! Love you and all your guys stuff. Quick questions for a H2H points league that favors steals , and rebounds. FT% is heavily penalized. Have three spots at the end of my roster that I'm trying to strike gold on. Currently in those three spots rostering:

Aminu
Josh Hart
Zach Collins

And in my IR spots:

Dunn
Derrick White

I am liking Aminu right now as a low end hold bc of his strong rebounds and floor. Collins has also been playing very well. Ntilikina , Danny Green , Noah Vonleh , SGA , and Cedi Osman are all on my wire currently. How do you feel about Hart's downturn in FGA? Do you think he will simply be a low end guy this year? I am very interested in chasing upside with Ntilikina. I am also kind of convinced Osman will be nothing more than a low end guy this year. I appreciate your thoughts thanks!!

Zeller is ranked in top-80 right now in 9-cat. You think Mitch will top that?

I think he'll be benched at some point as Fizdale tinkers around so it depends how high you see Mitchell ranking and how fast other owners pick people up.

In 14-deep I wouldn't make that drop now.

Is this a trade proposal?

If FG is a strength, you gotta take Butler side.

I think tonight's performance is indicative of what he'll get you- mostly rebs and steals. If you can take the lack of other stats, you can keep him.

I think they'll probably be good by season's end (especially Pascal) but they'll have ups and down so it depends if you have a guy to cut.

IMO McGruder shouldnt be that guy He's still leading the starters in minutes and while he won;t get the usage he got the first week, he looks like a baller to me.

Not picking up either Sexton or Mitchell in 12-team at this point unless the rest of your squad is healthy and dominating and can afford the ups and down we always get from rookies.

That's a tough one man- depends on h2h or roto and what stats you need.

I think Slo-Mo's line tonight is best case- lots of rebsa nd steals but not much else. Siakam will have a more diverse stat set but not super deep in either.

Personally I like Siakam over Sl-Mo but it's super close.

Me too, he's incredible to watch.

And that's the reason he's not getting those minutes right now- he can't handle them consistently and the Hornets are trying to make the payoffs.

I don't think he's a hold in 12-teamers unless something happens to Lamb, Monk, MKG, etc. to guarantee him more minutes.

HAHAHA,

I am Sir Ali from Cheftopolis.

My quest is the holy grail of fantasy.

That depends, is it an Eastern Conference or Western Conference swallow?

That's kind of tough since Collins, who I like more than Ariza, doens't help you in that many cats- only FT and 3s marginally.

I think I would still pick himm up though- people seem to really love him so mabe you could package him in a trade somebody that'll help more.

Nobody is trying to trade for Ariza I don't think.

It was close 🙂

They were KAT, Jrue, J Murray but they've all broken out so forget those. My fav right now is C.J. McCollum (and Butler only if his owner is scared of trade and will sell low). Maybe Allen, JJJ or Issac if you're big on any of them.

I hate it. Because it's a weekly format, I can't sub out guys suspended (CP/Rondo) or DNPed (Kawhi). But since there's no game limit I can't make those games up on the back end. I'm basically down 12 or 13 games to the top teams and have no way outside of injury to make them up.

In regular roto, the games cap will help. In h2h, I can get hot end of season. Here, there's not much I can do to make up games deficit.

So I broke my rule about playing in non-daily leagues and paid the price. Next year, I'll make sure to stay in my milieu.

Thanks Bryan,

Yeah you need steals, 3s and points. I wouldn;t overreact cuz Love has missed games already and Isaac, Olynyk and Hayward started off slow.

I would definitely pick up Barton. If no IL spot will be tough but he helps you everywhere you need and has great h2h sched.

I also would be trying to package DSJ and another guy in a 2-for-1. He kills your FG which would be very good aside from him. Maybe wit Love when he gets back (or even now if not selling too low) so you can kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

There are a lot of guys in top-30 that do that- Steph, Kemba, Lillard, etc. The problem is that they're playing well and ownwers paid a premium for them on draft day so you'll have to give them an offer they can refuse (which usually means you lose).

You could target a guy like CJ McCollum who's off to a slow start or a lower-drafted guy like Mirotic who's playing really well.

See if anyone like Batum, Allen, JJJ, etc and don't get discouraged when your first trade attempt fails. Keep at it.

Thanks! I actually like the 3 guys you have now- though Green outranks Hart and Aminu now in 9-cat and in 9-cat I would pick up Green for Aminu.

He fits your points build ok cuz he can contribute 3s, stls, some boards but not hurt %s. Aminu hurts FG% but you didn't mention that so maybe that's not an issue.

I agree good chance for that with Cedi and while Ntilikina is scoring more, he stopped stealing the ball so is more a deep leeg guy imo.
