I had my worst bye week ever, the 4 players I added got ruled out between the last day of the bye week and the first two of my semifinals...

@tut I was so close to being in this position as I am also fighting for back2back chip, dropped Keldon Johnson in a guess that he'd miss the Spurs two games (I was right), and picked up Bogdan for a Hawks two gamer. Yesterday, when Boggy got hit with a questionable tag I thought "juuuuuuust my luck." He ended up playing (not that he did all that much) but the familiar feeling of the silly season and the Misery of which we all write in this thread crept up like a 1992 toy commercial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PTFiJAH63xo that still gets stuck in my head for some weird reason.

I'll start with one:
Mirza Teletovic, 2016. I needed something like 8 three pointers to win about 1000 dollars in a H2H league, and Mirza was my last add for finals week and a half. He hit 5 in his first game after I picked him up and still had 3 games left. I was golden! Next game he only hit 1 but I figured I only needed 2 more in 2 games, so I'm in great shape.
Next game, he got hurt 11 minutes in and hit zero.
Last game of the year was an overload day and I didn't get a chance to play all of my guys and lost by 1 three pointer. I'm still sick about it.
Mirza Teletovic cost me 800 dollars.
I once lost with 10 seconds left in the game. My investment was in the $100 range, so I wasn't too worried, but I remembered.
But your player cost you 800 dollars, I can imagine your emotions. I guess you had no more hopes for Mirza Teletovic?
Never again.
