I love watching Doncic as much as the next guy, and yes he is a pretty standard first-round keeper pick, but for this year him at 8 will hurt you. This was a pick with an eye towards the future. With 3P% being invoked over 3PM, Donic will need to improve there which he should as he continues to get more seasoning. I think you'll be competitive this year, but I can't see you making much noise. With that said you have fantastic keepers (depending on how many you can keep) with so many talented young guys. Collins, Clarke, Bagley, Luka, Carter; That's a good foundation to continue on from.

I love this team. It's a very deep 16 man league and you got pick 11, putting you in a tough spot, but you nailed all your picks. Nance's role is tentative until the team moves Love (if they can), as TT is expected to start. He'll still be solid, but less than what was presumed a week or so ago. The top 6 picks went awesome for you. Multiple defensive bigs along with sniper guards (and a sniper big). You set yourself up for success around the board. Culver is looking better and better as the preseason goes on and the same can be said about PJW. Looney and Powell are nice late upside pick to fill in the gaps. This is a very strong team and one of the better late-pick teams I have seen. Great job beating the handicap.

Drummond at 21 is a snag. He and Harden literally cover you (elite) in every category and is the ultimate 1-2 punch. Honestly, after that your set to run roughshod on teams. You didn't make any bad picks here and getting Whiteside to pair with Drummond (yeah you'll have two of the worst ft shooters on a few attempts) gives you two of the top 5 best rebounders and shot blockers in the league. Your assists are going to be strong and points as well with maybe 3 20+ guys and then Harden. The Bogdo brothers give you additional shooting and scoring. I think you are set in basically every category except turnover (who cares) and the %s will be tricky. Even so this is a strong team that'll be found in the playoffs come March/April.

When LeBron and Westbrook fall off, you'll need to find reinforcements, this team is extremely strong and in prime position to get you in the dance with a shot to make it back to back to back. How many teams are in the league? I don't know what you'll get for a Lou and WCS package but it's worth it to try. The talent, let me rephrase that the talent is strong, the value for this year falls off big after them, but you have so many young and exciting dynasty guys filling the rest. ft% and turnovers is going to be a problem. Fg% maybe as well. But defense and points won't be, and all those sharpshooter at the end of the bench will make u strong in treys. You can use another rebounder or assist guy but Westy and Lebron is big for both. You have so much young firepower I think you can trade a few to increase your odds this year. This is a very good team for this year.

Hey man glad to have you, you can always message me on twitter @santinocaccone if you have any questions throughout the year.

Turnovers. No one likes turnover, it just makes the most sense as a 9th stat. With that said, turnovers should never be a focus on your draft. The best players have the ball in their hands the most, which 90% of the time will mean they'll have the most turnovers (for fantasy purposes). With that said, you had a pretty solid draft. You got everyone pretty much where they are going except Tucker who is more of a last pick than a starter. Don't let the GSW playoff round fool you. he could have been replaced with a player with more value. This team will be a plus three-point shooter while getting steals and sinking free throws. Rebounds are okay but nothing special, but you can get assists. The team is pretty well-rounded but nothing flashy that jumos off the page at you. Be ready to be in the grindhouse, where your daily/weekly moves will determine quite a few matchups.

Ouu weekly league, that means more of an emphasis on stars. Try throwing as many 2-1s or more as you can to get the top-heaviest team possible. You cover all your bases in those ten. Capela, Vuc, Bam, Jonas is a great set of bigs. I like your wiley veteran guards to hold down the fort. Then do-it-all Klaw and Isaac's defense. You didn't land a top pick, but you have enough firepower to take 5 cats every week with not a real glaring weakness. Strong %s, with lower turnovers. You can get defensive stats and shoot threes. While they aren't all elite, you have yourself a nice well-rounded team, and one that has the ability to trade for an elite guy. I wouldn't be as confident as the other guys saying you won. There's going to be others out there strong.

Thanks man, my apologies I actually got out of order. Below is the revised order. Also I built this on a punt blocks build so if looney can grab some rebounds with 28 min a night I hope that will help.

Harden
Ayton
Booker
Bam Bam
Bledsoe
Ball
Sabonis
VanVleet
Harris
Looney
Bogdan
Cedi
Hunter

Hi, Santino! First off let me just say that I bought the premium pack (not so that you feel obliged to rate my team) and I'm loving it. I felt confident after my first draft and looking forward to my next 4. At any rate, appreciate you rating so many teams on a daily basis.

I also have a pending offer for Lillard + Collins in exchange for AD + Delon Wright, which I'm inclined to accept given my depth with guards. Would love to get your thoughts on the team and the trade.

Pick 7 H2H 10 team standard 9 cat

(7) Damian Lillard
(14) Jimmy Butler
(27) Kyrie Irving
(34) John Collins
(47) Otto Porter, Jr.
(54) Eric Bledsoe
(67) Jonathan Isaac
(74) Wendell Carter, Jr.
(87) Enes Kanter
(94) Miles Bridges
(107) Jeremy Lamb
(114) Garry Harris
(127) Dwight Powell

I am apparently against the grain here, but I couldn't Lillard at 6 when LeBron and Jokik are still there. Bertans was a fine pick and the more that team gets beaten up, the better it looks. The other bench players aren't too enticing. Slow-Mo is someone with upside but who's injury and overall boringness has me soured on him a bit. After the ehh's now onto the ahhs, as you have a good trio of both bigs and guards. Your first two picks are sharpshooters with great ft%s. And your bigs should be able to get over a block and steal a game (Ayton might fall short but narrowly). Points will be strong, and Bam will help compliment the guards in assists. FT% and steals should be strong as well. While the back half isn't the most exciting of players, you have a quality core group to win 5 cats on any given week.

I like how you took some chances on big men in the later rounds, but Kleber and Zubac are still borderline. Dedmon may have gone a bit early. NAW and Bertans were good picks at the end with the way they're looking. They pair well with the awesome shooting your team has. You have a good base right now and again, will be strong in threes, steals and ft%, but the lack of big men is going to be an issue with rebounding, blocks and fg%. Assists are in the middle. The draft went pretty standard for those first 6 picks, nothing wrong, but there is something missing to truly feel confident entering the season.

Your team can certainly shoot threes and score points! Your ft% is going to be strong and so will assists. Steals look above average as well. You'll need to win these five cats as you don't have enough bigs to win boards or blocks any week. You also have a lot of high volume shooting guards who will prevent you from winning fg% and bring turnovers. It's a good team, but you're backed in a corner to needing to win those specific five evry week. J Rich and Lou Will went a bid early and a big wouldve worked well in that area.

Santino,
Thanks for your quick breakdown of my team. It's a 12 team 9 cat H2H league. I feel pretty good about making it to the playoffs but will definitely have to find another solid piece or two that will get me to my third championship. I think I just need to hear it from somebody else to move a young piece to prepare for this year. I dropped NAW to pick up M. Thybulle last night but I definitely feel like I need a guy like NAW to prepare for my teams future. I'm on the fence about offering MPJ and Clarke. I love Clarke and have been excited to see if MPJ can reach his "potential". I've been listening to Dan and think I may target a few of his "old guys" to get ready to defend my championships and create my dynasty.

Thanks again,

Chris

I'm not a Lamb guy to take him in the 5th round, even if it is a deeper league. Redick went a bit early as well, but he'll be in a fast-paced offense and get a lot of looks from deep. I really like your late-round picks and think they'll provide nice value. The trio of rookies looks like they're going to earn roles right from the get-go and produce different sets of numbers. I would have felt a lot more comfortable with another big in the Lamb range. As it stands your defensive numbers are not great and will be hard to win. Those are potent backbones to have on a fantasy team. You're going to dominate in treys and have good scoring for such a deep league, but there's not enough well-roundedness to count on each week.
