Kristaps Porzingis left Saturday’s preseason game against the Celtics with a groin injury and did not return.
The injury doesn’t sound serious but Porzingis has already built a reputation for being on the injury report so stuff like this doesn’t help. Owners shouldn’t adjust their projections unless news worsens considerably and he’s still worth a look starting in the third round of standard drafts.
Kristaps Porzingis said he expects to play this week and said team doctors are being cautious with the soreness in his groin.
