Sixers rookie Ben Simmons is expected to miss about three months, though this story is fluid and could easily change over the next few days and/or weeks.

Surgery is set for next week and this timetable means we won’t be seeing the No. 1 overall pick until at least January. Dario Saric, Jerami Grant and Jerryd Bayless will get the most immediate boost from this news, and then a crowded group of lower-end players will see their minutes collectively rise.  Unless you’re in a dynasty league or massive format, Simmons should remain untouched on draft day.
