Lou Williams got hot early for the Lakers and never cooled off. He ended up dropping a team-high 25 points on 8-0f-14 shooting from the field (5-of-6 from downtown) and 4-of-6 from the line. He handed out three assists and got four steals.

“Sweet Lou” Williams has been a solid source of points and threes early in the season and it appears his role in the Lakers’ rotation is carved in stone. As D’Angelo Russell gets better and holds on to more minutes on the floor, expect Williams to cede some time to the Lakers’ future current star.
