Jusuf Nurkic missed both of his shot attempts and finished with zero points, two boards and one steal in the Nuggets’ 106-95 loss to the Pistons on Saturday.

You know things aren’t good when Nurkic doesn’t attract stats.  The offense is mostly broken because of the one-on-one play and the pairing of he and Nikola Jokic — although it wasn’t deployed tonight — it has been tough on both players.  The bigger issue is the point guard play and also the gunning by a lot of players, including Nurkic.  The big man will be fine but he might not be the super-stud many were claiming him to be in Week 1.
