Josh Richardson (right knee) will miss Miami’s regular-season opener against Orlando.

According to Ira Winderman, Richardson has still not done any contact work. The Heat will be extra cautious with their young shooting guard to make sure he is fully recovered before playing any games. He said that he’s no longer experiencing pain in his injured right now, although it does get a little sore after workouts. Richardson was expected to be the starting SG when he returns so he is worth a late-round pick considering his upside.
