Joel Embiid scored 15 points on 5-of-8 shooting with five rebounds, seven turnovers and zero steals or blocks over 20 minutes in the Sixers’ 97-76 preseason loss to the Pistons on Saturday.

Let’s not bury the lede. Embiid might be able to play in back-to-backs and he has quickly changed our minds about his draft status while also sort of captivating the Twittersphere with his big personality and hard-charging play.  We don’t know how much we want to start betting on his health, but prior to the SEGABABA news we were moving him into the early-late rounds and he could very well start the season inside of our top-100. Especially with Nerlens Noel (groin, trade) and Jahlil Okafor (knee) questionable for the opener.
