Blazers’ Jake Layman sidelined with shoulder injury

  • Blazers forward Jake Layman has been sidelined with a left shoulder injury according to Joe Freeman of the Oregonian. 

    Layman said the injury is just minor and he expects to be back “by next week.” He played college ball for Maryland and was drafted 47th overall in the 2016 NBA Draft. With the Blazers’ depth it is unlikely Layman plays any significant minutes this season if he ends up making the final roster.
