• The injury bug is still chewing through the NBA as Fantasy Basketball managers hit one of the most important stretches of the season. In Philadelphia, Joel Embiid is listed as doubtful, while Chicago is cautiously optimistic Jaden Ivey can contribute on the upcoming road trip after his knee soreness finally eased. Indianaโ€™s Pascal Siakam is progressing, but he remains sidelined indefinitely, and Washington will be without Trae Young.

We also got brutal news on Cade Cunningham. According to Shams Charania, Cunningham has been diagnosed with a collapsed lung and is expected to miss extended time. The Pistons later confirmed heโ€™ll be re-evaluated in two weeks after suffering a left lung pneumothorax. From a fantasy perspective, the short-term fallout is pretty straightforward: Daniss Jenkins profiles as the most obvious beneficiary if Detroit hands him the keys to those newly available minutes and touches.

Golden Stateโ€™s Stephen Curry remains out, though Steve Kerr said the team will provide an update Saturday after Curry got in a workout in Boston. Moses Moody is still sidelined as well, remaining in a brace despite earlier hopes he could rejoin the team on the road trip. Meanwhile, things are getting interesting in Milwaukee, where Giannis Antetokounmpo reportedly wants back on the floor even as the Bucks weigh shutting him down with their playoff odds fading by the day.

As the season barrels toward the finish line, this edition of the cheat sheet breaks down the top waiver-wire pickups, the best streamers for tonight, and the key storylines fantasy managers need to track before the next injury domino falls.

    Top Pickups

This is the “general must-add” section regardless of the slate. If these players are being overlooked and remain chilling on the waiver wire, consider adding them to your squad.

    Ousmane Dieng (6%)

It comes down to opportunity. Over the past two weeks, Dieng has hovered outside the top 150 in fantasy rankings, averaging 27 minutes, 8.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 0.6 steals, 0.2 blocks, and shooting 45.9% on 7.4 attempts per game. But Tuesday night, off the bench, he played nearly 30 minutes and exploded for 19 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and five triples.

Consistency isnโ€™t his strong suit yet, but the opportunity is real. With Giannis out and Myles Turnerโ€™s status uncertain, Dieng could carve out a bigger role as the Bucks test what they have in him. That opportunity could easily translate into a late-season fantasy run, making him a player to watch on the waiver wire.

    Taylor Hendricks (8%)
