MLB Pickups of the Day for April 26th

  • Jarren Duran

Happy Wednesday! Let’s take a look at some of last night’s action and see who you might be able to find on the waiver wire to fill out your fantasy baseball rosters.

Danny Jansen C, Toronto Blue Jays

After an extremely slow start, Danny Jansen is having better at-bats and it looks like he’s finding his swing. He went 3-for-4 last night against the White Sox, with two home runs, four RBI and three runs scored. He’s now hitting .421/.500/.947 over his last seven games with eight hits, three long balls, nine RBI and only one strikeout. He’s never going to be an everyday catcher, having to split time with Alejandro Kirk, but if you’ve lost a catcher recently, he’s a good option as a backup or a second catcher in two-catcher leagues.

Jansen is rostered in 16% of Yahoo leagues and 15% on ESPN.
