It’s a major holiday weekend so you might be tempted to slack off when it comes to your fantasy effort. JUST SAY NO! Sure, fire up the grill, stuff your face with red, white and blue cupcakes and/or watermelon and then watch fireworks, but do not take a break from fantasy. This is part of the ‘grind’ that everyone mentions, so get grinding!
Also, for the second week in a row, there is a bonus reminder for SportsEthos subscribers at the bottom of this article. Check it out!

Heliot Ramos – OF – Giants – 37%
Heliot Ramos is hitting .268/.309/.458 with six homers and 23 RBI so far this season. Those numbers certainly don’t jump off the page but be aware that the outfielder lost six weeks in May and June due to a quad injury.
The Giants activated Ramos this past weekend. He produced immediately by banging two homers and a triple in his first four games back in action. His 15.2% barrel rate and 50.0% hard-hit rate are career-highs. Ramos hit more than 20 homers in each of the past two years and can still reach that mark if he stays healthy the rest of this season.
The upcoming schedule for Ramos looks great! The Giants play a series against the Rockies in Coors this weekend. They have a week-log homestand next week with a full slate of games including three against the Blue Jays and four more against the Rockies. You probably don’t need me to remind you, but I’ll do it anyway – the Rockies pitching staff is in MLB’s bottom three teams in nearly every metric over the past 30 days including ERA, WHIP, FIP, xFIP, wOBA and runs allowed. So, including today’s game (Friday), Ramos should really enjoy facing the Rockies and their weak pitching for seven of the next 10 games!
Garrett Mitchell – OF – Brewers – 6%
