AK Dynasty 300 Rankings: Top 300 Overall

    Welcome to the second annual AK Dynasty 300!

    This is the second year in a row I’ve been given the reigns of the dynasty rankings and I feel as if these are better than last year’s, thanks to the experience of creating and sharing my first batch.

    The rankings are geared toward a win-now AND in the future dynasty setup, so there are many of the top prospects later in the top 300 than you will see elsewhere, but I won’t quibble with those who think someone like Konnor Griffin or Robby Snelling should be higher.

    In most cases, if I have Player A ranked higher than Player B, that means I would not deal Player A for Player B, but I would the reverse, with the caveat that player age and your competitive position could definitely swing the rankings a bit.

    For example, if you are a win now team and you have Kristian Campbell (rank: 165) on your minor league roster, but you need more offensive power and some outfield help, then I would understand if you traded him for, say, Dylan Crews (203). But, if you are one of the bottom teams in your league and you are least a year or two away from competing, then it would make sense to trade like, say, Will Smith (101) for an Aidan Miller (148).

    Use my rankings as a guide, but not the law. Adjust as your league and team needs see fit and don’t be afraid to ignore or throw out players who don’t fit your timeline or team build.
