So Long Delon?: Delon Wright saw just five minutes of action in Washington’s last game, that after logging between 12 and 25 minutes in the team’s first five contests. Is Wright really going to be that uninvolved when the Wizards have everyone available? He’s been a sneaky good fantasy option so far because of his assists and steals, and is one of the few players on the roster that you can trust to make the team play better when he’s on the court. Having Wright cut from the rotation would be a real loss, especially for fantasy managers.

Who Fills In?: Terry Rozier will miss his second straight contest with a groin injury here. On Sunday, his absence simply allowed LaMelo Ball to pop off with a massive line, but fantasy GMs should be keeping an eye on the scraps to see if anyone emerges with fantasy value. Brandon Miller moved into the starting lineup and should do the same again tonight, but can anyone else who isn’t majority rostered break through?

If you need guard stats, kick the tires on Theo Maledon. He fared well down the stretch last season, and although that came while Ball was out, he should get the biggest bump with Rozier on the shelf.

The Kessler Run: Walker Kessler is questionable to play tonight because of an elbow issue, and it would be par for the course if he’s ruled out. He’s coming off a game of 15 points, 15 boards and four blocks, which was his second major impact game of the young season. The last time he followed up a big game wasn’t all that impressive but hopefully Kessler gets the chance to buck the trend tonight.

Bennedict Arnold: So far, managers who have invested in Bennedict Mathurin have to be disappointed. He’s shooting just .406 from the floor, and while inefficiency was always going to be an issue, there are some bigger problems at play. Mathurin has been handed a starting role but is actually playing less than he did last year. He’s down at 22.2 mpg, a loss of over six minutes a night, and has seen his shot volume fall as well. For a player whose entire fantasy appeal is predicated on getting buckets, that’s deadly. Mathurin should turn it around eventually and maybe a matchup against a struggling Jazz team can get him going.
