Lots of holes in the starting lineup: Fantasy managers should take a leap of faith and ride with some of Toronto’s bench members against the 76ers, due to RJ Barrett (concussion), Brandon Ingram (ankle) and Jakob Poeltl (hip) all confirmed to miss the Tuesday night match. The opportunity arises for Ochai Agbaji, Ja’Kobe Walter and Jamal Shead to see extended time, along with Gradey Dick (neck) and Jonathan Mogbo (ankle), who are listed as probable. In deeper leagues, Chris Boucher and Jamal Shead can also become nice sleeper targets as well.
The Raptors could likely extend their injuries into the All-Star Break as there’s no need to risk their starters when they’re competing for absolutely nothing.
All on eyes on which game Joel Embiid will skip: As Philadelphia closes their first half of the season with a back-to-back, Tuesday against the Raptors and Wednesday at the Brooklyn Nets, Joel Embiid is listed as questionable for the closest of these, and even though it’s not confirmed, it’s not crazy to assume he’ll play in this one and rest all the way through the ASB, unless the Sixers fear the Nets that much. As most of the roster is close to being fully healthy, with Eric Gordon (wrist) listed as questionable as well. Guerschon Yabusele’s spot should be safe for the rest of the season, so these might be the last chance to get him on your team before people realize his production is here to stay.
As well, the addition of Quentin Grimes is one to follow, as he seems locked as the Sixers’ first choice off the bench for their backcourt unless Gordon, Kyle Lowry or Ricky Council IV surpass him in performance.
Stream of the Game
The safest choices here are Ochai Agbaji and Guerschon Yabusele, as it’s been usual, but if you want to get ahead with a potential risk play, Quentin Grimes is waiting for you.
Alternatives: Ja’Kobe Walter (points, 3s, steals), Jamal Shead (points, 3s, assists), Jonathan Mogbo (rebounds, stocks), Gradey Dick (points, 3s), Andre Drummond (points, rebounds, blocks).
