Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week 7
Last Updated on October 27, 2026 2:59 pm by Jon Mosales | Published: October 27, 2026
Week 7 was fairly normal in comparison to the rest of the season, but again it’s backup QBs being the story for better or worse. Anyone who went all-in for Gio Bernard was handsomely rewarded. The most pressing question is how these backup QBs will affect offenses going forward and in case of the Giants with the QB3 under center, it could even work out better for the weapons. The Eagles are toast and have a short week and we might not see Saquon Barkley again this calendar year. If you aren’t rostering at least one rookie WR, you are doing fantasy wrong.
Quarterbacks
Malik Willis – Willis might be finally heating up and the schedule is pretty favorable over the next few weeks with two games at home and DET/IND. Willis had his first top-five finish of the season and he’s finally running the ball with eight rushes in each of the last two games. The Dolphins remain one of the worst teams in the league, but they seem to have found an identity behind Ollie Gordon and getting Caleb Douglas back help a ton downfield. (FAAB: 1%)

Michael Penix – Penix has three TDs in each of the last two games and the ATL offense is rolling despite the tough schedule. You really want to only ride Penix at home and while this week is tough vs. TB, the next two weeks aren’t bad vs. CIN/KC. With Kyle Pitts resurrecting his fantasy value for the 100th time and Drake London finally scoring, the Falcons are to be feared, especially with Bijan Robinson in a mini-slump. (FAAB 1-2%)
