Mitchell RobinsonC, New York KnicksAdrian Wojnarowski of ESPN is reporting that the Knicks plan to make CAA player agent Leon Rose the franchise's next President of Basketball Operations.
After parting ways with Steve Mills on Tuesday, the Knicks are adopting a model that has recently gained popularity, with former player agents like Bob Myers and Rob Pelinka running basketball operations. Rose has been one of the top agents in basketball for years with clients including Joel Embiid, Chris Paul, Devin Booker, Karl-Anthony Towns and Carmelo Anthony. Masai Ujiri was never really an option and it will be interesting to see whether the new regime can shake things up.
