Jerami GrantSF, Denver NuggetsThe Heat are expected to have an interest in Nuggets forward Jerami Grant in free agency, according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.
Grant is coming off a strong playoff showing and is expected to opt out of his contract but him and the Nuggets share mutual interest in a return. The Heat will be looking to add a piece or two following an inspirational run to the Finals, but it’s doubtful they will offer more than one year to any free agent, which makes his pursuit seemingly unlikely to be successful. Grant is also said to be on the radar of the Pistons, the Mavs, the Hawks and the Suns and he could command between $14 million and $16 million per season on an open market that doesn’t have big names this year.
