Here are some players who can help your team as we head into the season’s final days. Some of these are players you wouldn’t have considered earlier in the year. However, time is almost up – we need players who can help us RIGHT NOW and that’s what this list contains.

* Note: Although all listed roster percentages are from Yahoo, at the time of the writing of this article, most of our waiver wire recommendations are widely available across all major platforms. *

Mickey Moniak – OF – Rockies – 24%
Cole Carrigg – SS/OF – Rockies – 22%
Kyle Karros – 3B – Rockies – 6%

Don’t give up your Rockies hitters too fast. They have home games at Coors Field through September 24 (Mariners this weekend; D-backs next week). In their final series, they play at the White Sox next weekend so you might even hold on to them right to the season’s last day.

Nolan Arenado – 3B – Diamondbacks – 31%

I don’t have strong feelings about whether to play Arenado against the Yankees this weekend. However, I positively want to roster him next week, especially when the D-backs play at Coors on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The Rockies will trot out some mix of Kyle Freeland, Mason Adams, Tanner Gordon, Gabriel Hughes and Ryan Feltner in that series. Does it matter exactly which ones? Nope. Each one has a WHIP greater than 1.45. Arenado should have a strong series.
