Cold air spreading across the U.S. dims outlook for hitters

The anticipated weekend cold snap is underway. Unfortunately, it already arrived at Coors Field, where conditions will be about as poor as they can be tonight (if they can even play the game) and Saturday. BOO!  At least it will be much warmer/better there on Sunday. Elsewhere, rain won’t be too much of a threat except watch out in Atlanta tonight and Sunday as rain could impact those games.
