Kevin LovePF, Cleveland CavaliersThe Cavs will receive a future second-round pick in exchange for lifting the protections on the 2022 first-rounder they received from the Bucks back in 2018, per Bobby Marks.
That pick was dealt to acquire George Hill. With all signs pointing to Giannis Antetokounmpo signing his contract extension with Milwaukee, those protections probably mean a bit less right now. It's tidy business for the Cavs to pick up an extra second-round pick considering the likelihood that the first-rounder from the Bucks was going to be low anyway.
