Fantasy Basketball Draft Guide 2026: ADP Report, Volume 1
Last Updated on September 29, 2026 6:33 pm by Mike Passador | Published: September 29, 2026
Fantasy drafts have begun! Well, they’ve been rolling for the most hardcore players out there for a while, and even the “regular” drafts that are happening now are typically for the most dedicated fantasy players out there. Essentially, if you’re drafting now it means you’ve been fiending all summer long. Can’t say we blame you.
With drafts up and running we finally have some sweet, sweet ADP data to work with. It’ll be a bit fuzzy because it’s not a huge sample, and those drafts are mostly filled with sharp-minded, longtime players who know their stuff. You may not see real value emerge until later in the process when the market is flooded with people who have less of a handle on things. But still, it’s good to crunch numbers and get a sense of the landscape. Our first foray won’t be too in depth given the potential problems with the data set but we’ll take a look at the notables. That said, opening day is three weeks out and things move fast — teams are still making trades and revealing major injuries, after all.
While we’re not in love with the data that’s currently available, it’s time to dip our toes in the water and see what’s moving and shaking.
As always, we’re using our handy ADP Tracker to see all the relevant numbers. Expect regular updates to that as well, so keep checking back to stay up to date!
