Today’s Working the Waiver Wire is filled with pitcher streams with great matchups, a strikeout machine that is finally the closer and some hitters that should be in for a productive weekend given the ballpark they will get to play in.
P Tyler Mahle (43%), P Martin Perez (28%), P Grant Holmes (25%) – Braves
These are the three probable starters for the Braves this weekend against the Rockies outside of Coors and I list them in order of priority. Not only are each of them excellent win chances, but they’re all performing well. Mahle has a 1.52 ERA over his last 23.2 IP with an 8.75 K/9 and 1.90 BB/9. Perez is inducing soft contact and ground balls leading to a 2.40 ERA in his last 30.0 innings while Holmes has 3.08 ERA over his last 26.1 innings.
Mason Montgomery (25%) – PIT
