Welcome to the 2024-25 SportsEthos NBA Draft Guide!
We’re so excited to have you in the fold for another year of fantasy basketball. There’s plenty of stuff cooking in the background and you can expect plenty more to be added to the Draft Guide as we go along, with all the classics like Sleepers and Busts, reader mock drafts and of course, our rankings and strategy guides on top of some new things we’ll be rolling out.
If you’re back again (after winning some leagues last year), welcome back! If you’re new, welcome in! We’re thrilled that you’re here and as always, our goal is to give you all the top insight for the fantasy season so this Draft Guide and our in-season premium membership pay for themselves. Check out the menu on the left-hand side of your page to see all that there is to offer, and know that we’ll be adding pieces for each category as time goes on. What you see today will be different from what you see even 48 hours from now, so click around everywhere!
We’re going to have all kinds of goodies for your perusal regardless of your experience level. For the beginners, we have a few pieces special just for you to help introduce the game and show you how to navigate the season. The team is working on introductory articles and strategy guides to help you tackle all the basic league formats, from points to roto to dynasty to best ball. Naturally, we’ll have rankings for each league type as well, capped off by the Bruski 150, which is why you’re all here in the first place.
And before we throw all our eggs in the 2024-25 basket, we’ve got a whole section reviewing last season. Each and every team has their own Season Wrap, where we recap every player’s fantasy performance. We take a look back at last year’s Sleepers and Busts — spoiler alert, Jalen Johnson did very well for us — and also go for a deep dive to see what was behind some of fantasy’s most disappointing and successful efforts.
As for what’s on the horizon, you can check out our projections and ADP Tracker to make sure everything adds up. Later on in the offseason we’ll start doing weekly ADP Reports so you can quickly find out what’s moving and shaking in draft rooms. We’ve got schedule tools and analysis to help you head-to-head managers navigate the mine field. It’ll be like entering the matrix.
We’ll be going in depth with dozens of articles too. Whether that’s focusing on potential breakouts, specific category specialists, new faces in new places, statistical standouts or young players on the rise, we’re going to break out the microscope to see what’s in store.
We’re going to have a whole separate section for dynasty, assembled by the incomparable Mark Camero. Rankings, offseason takes, a closer look at first-round picks, and a whole lot more.
The legend himself, Dr. A, Steve Alexander, will be planting his flag with our new My Guys feature. Pick the brain of a genius and see which guys he can’t go without in this year’s drafts!
And last but not least (well, not last — keep your eyes peeled in early September), we’re going to have our team pages and player profiles. It’s an industry-leading endeavor, as we recap last season, preview this season, chronicle injury history and deliver a short but sweet fantasy outlook for every single player in the NBA. Every single player! All of them. If they’re under contract, we’ve got them. That means we’re going to have profiles for over 500 players, from Victor Wembanyama to Maxwell Lewis. From Aaron Gordon to Zacharie Risaccher. From Caleb Martin to Cody Martin. The guys you know by heart and the guys you’ve never heard of before. Quick, who is Branden Carlson? Don’t worry, we’ve got you.
As mentioned above, we’ll also be doing all kinds of mock drafts. Mix it up with the team and read our recaps as we all prepare for the main event. The drafts themselves are also a ton of fun — who doesn’t love drafting — and you get to chat it up with our experts while it’s running.
So welcome to the 2024-25 Draft Guide. It’s a labor of love, but it’s also going to help all of us win. Enjoy the ride.
