Fantasy Basketball Draft Guide 2025: LA Clippers Team Preview

By Mike Passador Published August 31, 2025 Updated October 18, 2025 2 min read

How’d We Get Here?

The Clippers made the prescient decision to let Paul George walk and although they were denied playoff success yet again, a retooled roster gave the Nuggets all they could handle in the first round. James Harden turned back the clock, Ivica Zubac broke out in style and the Clippers got solid contributions from a deep supporting cast. It gave the organization new direction heading to the future, and the Clippers spent the summer filling out the roster with more proven NBA talent. It’s a veteran-heavy roster but one that’s not as top-heavy as previous iterations. Adding Bradley Beal, John Collins, Chris Paul and Brook Lopez is a big infusion of talent — imagine if this was 2019? — but everything still rests on the lower body of Kawhi Leonard. He’s got the best supporting cast he’s had so far, though it may take time for all the pieces to click into place. We have to imagine that Ty Lue will appreciate being able to call on Paul or Beal instead of Terance Mann or Amir Coffey, though.
