Key Storylines

Bulls forwards get a boost: While Patrick Williams is set to lose extended time due to inflammation on his surgically repaired left foot, this gives new opportunities to Jalen Smith and Matas Buzelis to actually capitalize on more playing time, especially the rookie as he saw 29 minutes vs. the Grizzlies on Sunday, scoring 14 points with three boards and a block. While Lonzo Ball (wrist) is doubtful to play, he is hard to trust so Ayo Dosunmu is also someone who should see big minute counts for the time being although the expected production has not been there in the past few games

Sarr’s big game: The 2024 Draft’s second overall pick had himself a game against the Pacers on Sunday, with 17 points, 14 rebounds (career-high) and two blocks. Even though he’s been out of streamer range for most of the season in terms of his roster percentage, he’s been dropping low enough you can find him in a lot of waiver wires these days. And with good reason, offensively he’s not there yet as his shot consistently fails, but his rebounds and steal/block numbers are very intriguing once he keeps adapting to the league.

Carlton Carrington’s performances have been trending in the wrong direction over the past week but I still believe in him as a good streaming option with potential to become a rest-of-the-season pickup. Washington has an intriguing cast of bench players who should have good performances here a there, but Carrington is my favorite out of the bunch.

Stream of the Game

Alex Sarr and Matas Buzelis are my choices for this tight match. I don’t think guards will be doing as good since there’s a lot of defensive potential in the backcourt of both teams.

Alternatives: Jalen Smith (points, rebounds), Carlton Carrington (points, rebounds, assists, steals), Corey Kispert (points, 3s), Kyshawn George (points, 3s, steals).
