Key Storylines

Bye Bye Scary Terry – Terry Rozier was traded to the Heat in a move that helped both teams in the long run. That leaves behind a pretty sizable usage hole in their roster and we’re expecting that to mostly be Brandon Miller. He’s a very strong add if he’s available in your league as he can only see his role grow. We’d also look to add Nick Smith Jr. in deeper formats as he should also see his opportunities down the stretch this season.

The Return of Cunningham – Cade Cunningham is set to return here and that should make Jaden Ivey owners at least a little nervous. Alec Burks is probably safe to jettison everywhere and the usage may just not be there for Bojan Bogdanovic going forward as he needs to score a ton to make up for his inability to produce stats elsewhere. For now, you hold and wait and see. But ultimately this Pistons team is bad and anyone outside of Cunningham, Ivey and Jalen Duren have their question marks in fantasy.

Stream of the Game

There are truly only deep league adds here, but Nick Smith Jr. and Nathan Mensah should be on your radar in 16-team leagues and deeper. Smith because of the Terry Rozier trade, which should bump him up into a role with minutes in the mid-teens as a floor. Mensah because of the Nick Richards injury as it looks as though he’ll miss another game with Mark Williams not even close to returning.
