Key Storylines

Looking for revenge: The Cavaliers 12-game winning streak was cut short on Sunday night as these same Pacers dried them up to only 93 points for the whole game. With Donovan Mitchell going through a cold streak, solid games from Evan Mobley, Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen weren’t enough to stop the loss, as Cleveland’s second unit struggled to have an impact in the match.

Ty Jerome (illness) remains as the only doubt for Tuesday’s match, as his status is doubtful.

Tyrese Haliburton status: In spite of Indiana’s franchise player getting injured at halftime, they managed to get their sixth win in a row and seventh in their last eight games, stopping the team with the best record in the NBA at the same time.

Rick Carlisle’s squad will try to take the series for the season in the rematch at home but they’ll most likely be without Haliburton, as his status was listed as doubtful with a hamstring injury. It would make sense for the Pacers to take it slow with Tyrese, as an extended injury is less than ideal for their plans to climb out of the Play-In spots.

Andrew Nembhard continues to be your best bet for the match as with Tyrese Haliburton potentially missing time, Indiana’s offense needs a creator.
