• We enjoyed an action-packed 11-game slate last night, highlighted by a thrilling game-winner from Max Strus! Let’s dive straight into the key discoveries and potential acquisitions from Tuesday night’s games in the NBA.

    Standard Leagues

    (<50% rostered on Yahoo)

Corey Kispert, G/F, Wizards (15% rostered)

Tonight: 33 minutes, 20 points (8-of-15 FG, 4-of-9 3PT, 0-of-1 FT), three rebounds, five assists, two blocks

Kispert earned his first start of the season due to the absence of Deni Avdija and Bilal Colubary and maintained his proficiency in scoring from beyond the arc. In three out of his last four games, Kispert has scored precisely 20 points each time, while also recording 15 three-pointers and five steals during this period. He provides a valuable source of three-point shots on most nights, averaging 2.1 three-pointers made per game this season. He’s a clear add as long as he’s starting.

Marvin Bagley III, F/C, Wizards (50% rostered)

Tonight: 33 minutes, 20 points (8-of-11 FG, 1-of-1 3PT, 3-of-3 FT), nine rebounds, two assists, one steal, two blocks

Bagley III continues to perform strongly for his new team, and there is a good case to suggest he can maintain his production as the starting center for the 9-win Washington Wizards. In his new role, he now poses a double-double threat, averaging 13.2 points and 9.8 rebounds alongside 1.2 blocks and 1.0 steals over his last five games. He capitalized offensively in the absence of Deni Avdija, but even with Avdija return, Bagley should remain a strong force for rebounds and efficiency.

Tre Mann, G, Hornets (41% rostered)

Tonight: 33 minutes, 16 points (6-of-12 FG, 2-of-5 3PT, 2-of-5 FT), four rebounds, three assists, two steals

Since LaMelo Ball’s injury, Mann has emerged as a significant addition in all standard leagues, taking on a starting role. The inefficiency from the charity stripe should be seen as an outlier, given that he has been converting upwards of 90% for the year as a Hornet. He has become a thief on the defensive side, racking up eight steals across his last four games.

Isaiah Stewart, F/C, Pistons (36% rostered)

Tonight: 34 minutes, 11 points (4-of-9 FG, 2-of-6 3PT, 1-of-2 FT), nine rebounds, one block

After serving his three-game suspension, Stewart returned and flirted with a double-double. This marked his first game in almost a month, as he had also been dealing with an ankle injury, but the 34 minutes played are a good sign. It’s advisable to monitor Stewart’s performance, as he could be a solid add if he continues to receive starter minutes.

Simone Fontecchio, F, Pistons (25% rostered)

Tonight: 21 minutes, 17 points (6-of-12 FG, 5-of-9 3PT, 1-of-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist, one steal

Fontecchio was moved back to the bench, but still made a huge impact in his 21 minutes, with five triples. He continues to be a strong stream for points and triples as he has hit two or more three-pointers in all of his past seven games.

Andre Drummond, C, Bulls (37% rostered)

Tonight: 28 minutes, 20 points (9-of-14 FG, 2-of-2 FT), 11 rebounds, one block

Drummond has always excelled as a great rebounder and poses a nightly double-double threat when given substantial playing time. He possesses the rare ability to secure 10+ rebounds even in games where he plays fewer than 20 minutes. Despite encountering an inconsistent amount of minutes over his past 25 games, he still maintains averages of 10.3 points and 10.0 rebounds per contest. He stands out as one of the league’s best rebounders on a per-minute basis. If you need a boost in rebounds, he is your guy.

Keyonte George, G, Jazz (46% rostered)

Tonight: 33 minutes, 14 points (5-of-15 FG, 4-of-9 3PT), one rebounds, six assists

George has become the full-time starting point guard for the Jazz and is able to put up enough stats to be an add. He’ll get you about five to six assists while having the ability to go for 15+ points pretty consistently. He is able to get hot from deep but he definitely struggles with his efficiency. Pick him up if you need assists.

    De’Andre Hunter, F, Hawks (50% rostered)

Tonight: 28 minutes, 20 points (6-of-10 FG, 7-of-9 FT), one triple, five rebounds, one block

With Trae Young sidelined for at least four weeks and possibly longer, Hunter emerges as a strong add in all leagues. He presents a great option for scoring, boasting an average of 20.0 points per game in his last three outings, along with 5.7 rebounds. If he remains unclaimed in your league, you should pick him up, as his availability won’t last much longer.

Brandin Podziemski, G, Warriors (49% rostered)

Tonight: 28 minutes, seven points (3-of-8 FG, 1-of-2 FT), four rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block

Podziemski can stuff the box sheet in any role assigned to him. Despite Chris Paul’s return to the lineup, Podziemski retained his minutes as he started. In his last 10 games, Podziemski has averaged 10.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 0.9 steals. He should maintain most of this production, especially as he is a great rebounder for his position. There are some concerns about his minutes, but the upside is certainly there.

Duncan Robinson, G/F, Heat (41% rostered)

Tonight: 34 minutes, 17 points (5-of-8 FG, 4-of-6 3PT, 3-of-3 FT), three rebounds, three assists, two steals

Robinson has now consistently played over 30 minutes per game and not just when Tyler Herro is sidelined. In four of his last five games, Robinson has made four or more three-pointers, which should not come as a huge surprise. We are aware of his ability to go on hot streaks and emerge as a formidable scorer from long range. While he remains a viable option for three-pointers, it’s worth noting that he has also become a noticeable contributor in assists, averaging five assists over his last four games.

Moritz Wagner, F/C, Magic (18% rostered)

Tonight: 19 minutes, 16 points (4-of-7 FG, 8-of-9 FT), five rebounds, two assists, one steal

Wagner continues to perform well off the bench, averaging 12.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.0 steal while shooting 62.4 FG% over his last five games. Managers wish he could receive starter minutes, but he still manages to contribute effectively in his limited role. He is a strong stream for field goal percentage and points but isn’t necessarily worth a daily roster spot if his minutes come down at all.

Max Strus, G/F, Cavaliers (50% rostered)

Tonight: 26 minutes, 16 points (7-of-12 FG, 7-of-10 3PT), four rebounds, four assists, two blocks

Strus made the biggest shot of the game by far: a 40-foot buzzer-beater to end it. However, this wasn’t his sole contribution, as he illuminated the Mavericks with seven triples, leading his team down the stretch. Strus was one of our top pickups of the night the last time he played, and now you can see why. He has been rostered less due to his slump over the past few months. If he can maintain his recent level of play, expect him to return to his early-season form. If he’s still available, make sure to pick him up, especially if you need three-pointers and rebounds.

Cody Martin, G/F, Hornets (11% on Yahoo)

Tonight: 22 minutes, two points, six rebounds, seven assists

Martin started as the point guard and despite playing only 22 minutes, he stuffed the stat sheet. He won’t be rostered for his scoring ability but rather for his contributions in other categories. He has developed into a player capable of providing value in multiple areas, depending on his role.

     Deep Leagues

    (<10% rostered on Yahoo)

Jae Crowder, G/F, Bucks (2% on Yahoo)

Tonight: 23 minutes, 10 points (4-of-5 FG, 2-of-3 3PT), seven rebounds, two assists

Jae Crowder continues to start and sees increased minutes with Khris Middleton sidelined. Although he hasn’t been a consistent scorer, he can still be a solid option for steals and even rebounds until Middleton returns. He can provide enough assistance to be helpful in 20-team leagues.

Taylor Hendricks, F, Jazz (5% on Yahoo)

Tonight: 29 minutes, eight points (3-of-8 FG, 2-of-4 3PT), eight rebounds, one assist, two steals

Hendricks has recently started games and has experienced an uptick in production, particularly in rebounds. He averages 6.7 rebounds over his last three games. If he continues to start, Hendricks can be a solid addition for rebounds.

Gary Payton II, G, Warriors (3% on Yahoo)

Tonight: 18 minutes, 13 points (6-of-10 FG, 1-of-1 3PT), four rebounds, two assists, three steals, one block

Payton II gained increased playing time while Andrew Wiggins was sidelined. He provides strong value as a streaming option for steals and is a speculative add in 20-team leagues, particularly when his teammates are injured.

Moses Moody, F, Warriors (2% on Yahoo)

Tonight: 23 minutes, 12 points (4-of-7 FG, 4-of-7 3PT), three rebounds, one assists, two steals

Moody started in place of the injured Andrew Wiggins and performed well, scoring all 12 points from beyond the arc. If Wiggins continues to miss time, Moody presents himself as a solid short-term option for 20-team leagues. Like Payton II mentioned above, Moody can be a valuable add in the event of a teammate’s injury.

Toumani Camara, F, Trailblazers (2% on Yahoo)

    Tonight: 32 minutes, 17 points (6-of-12 FG, 2-of-2 3PT, 3-of-3 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists

Camara recorded his second double-double of the season as he continues to receive consistent minutes every night. He serves as a strong option for rebounds and steals, particularly when he is in the starting lineup. He has been in the starting lineup for 35 games this season.

Caleb Houstan, F, Magic (0% on Yahoo)

Tonight: 31 minutes, 9 points (3-of-4 FG, 3-of-4 3PT), six rebounds, one assist and two steals

In his last two games, Houstan has made seven triples and scored 21 points. It’s evident: he earns all his points from beyond the arc. He presents a strong option for three-pointers, especially if Paolo Banchero continues to miss time.

Trendon Watford, F, Nets (0% on Yahoo)

Tonight: 19 minutes, 14 points (4-of-10 FG, 6-of-6 FT), seven rebounds

Watford was able to benefit with Cam Thomas sidelined and do most of his damage from the charity stripe. He becomes a speculative add in 20-team leagues, especially if he can contribute with a fully healthy squad.

Isaac Okoro, G/F, Cavaliers (6% on Yahoo)

Tonight: 25 minutes, nine points (3-of-5 FG, 2-of-4 3PT), six rebounds, five assists, one steal

Okoro filled the stat sheet off the bench. Although his minutes have decreased lately, he still demonstrates the capability to contribute across different categories. He efficiently plays as a guard and has made at least one triple in his last eight games.

Jericho Sims, F, Knicks (1% on Yahoo)

Tonight: 30 minutes, six points (3-of-3 FG), seven rebounds, three assists, two blocks

Sims started for an injury-depleted Knicks team that lacked Isaiah Hartenstein for this game. Sims has been averaging 6.6 rebounds over his last five games, making him a strong option for rebounds. If Hartenstein continues to miss games, Sims appears to be a valuable addition.

Ricky Council IV, G, 76ers (0% on Yahoo)

Tonight: 19 minutes, 16 points (6-of-8 FG, 4-of-4 FT), four rebounds, one assist

Council IV has strongly contributed when he has received 20+ minutes this season. His minutes have increased due to the injuries suffered by KJ Martin and De’Anthony Melton. Council IV could be a solid addition for 20-team leagues in terms of points if Martin and Melton miss more games.
