With a small three-game slate right before All-Star weekend, we mainly saw fill-in starts and some sloppy games. With that being said, there are some players who emerged who could provide some solid rest-of-season value. Let’s get into them!
Standard Leagues
(<50% rostered on Yahoo)
G.G. Jackson, F, Grizzlies (34% on Yahoo)
Tonight: 29 minutes, 27 points (10-of-17 FGs, 1-of-3 FTs), one board, one block, six triples
Jackson went crazy from the field, helping power the Grizzlies over the Bucks. The scoring and points look to be a factor as the Grizzlies are in silly season, but be cautious of the lack of other stats. Normally Jackson will put up enough boards to have some value, but the rest of the 9-cat game can be lacking.
Keyonte George, G, Jazz (27% on Yahoo)
Tonight: 41 minutes, 33 points (11-of-22 FG, 2-of-3 FT), nine triples, six assists, two rebounds, three steals
George went off from deep en route to tying the rookie record for threes. Inefficiency from the field has been a major flaw from George, so it’s good to see him put together a complete performance. While we can’t trust the FG% fully going forward, the minutes and additional stats make for a speculate standard league add.
