Anthony’s Fantasy Baseball Week in Review – September 10th

  • The week in review covers all the starts by the starting pitchers, what the bullpens did (saves, holds-wise), how did the offense perform (runs scored, walks, strikeouts) and who stood out with the bat, if anyone did. It’s pretty much guaranteed to be 3000 words or more and will cover pretty much every main fantasy statistic and impact players. And it comes at you every Monday.

Atlanta Braves – Chris Sale was amazing over two starts (13IP, 8H, 1BB, 16K); Max Fried (7IP, 5H, 1R, 1BB, 8K) and Reynaldo Lopez (6IP, 5H, 2ER, 11K) added a quality start a piece; Charlie Morton (5IP, 5H, 2ER, 3BB, 8K) and Spencer Schwellenbach (5IP, 10H, 6R, 3ER, 3K) each tossed five innings. Raisel Iglesias had a win and three saves; Joe Jimenez two holds, Dylan Lee & Pierce Johnson two holds each. They scored 21 runs over six games, hitting two home runs (Jarred Kelenic both), stealing six bases (Luke Williams two; Orlando Arcia, Eli White, Ramon Laureano & Kelenic one each), walking 22 times and striking out 42 times.
