According to sources close to Heat reporter Ethan J. Skolnick, Jimmy Butler has avoided a serious injury, similar to the one Dwyane Wade suffered a few years ago in Houston.

This seems to be simply speculation at this point and Erik Spoelstra did say after the game last night that Butler is scheduled to get an MRI on Thursday. We should know more about his injury today and if he’s forced to miss any time it would be Derrick Jones Jr., Duncan Robinson and Kendrick Nunn that will be asked to fill in his void. As for Andre Iguodala, it’s unknown at this point when he will be able to join the Heat on the court.
