Isaiah ThomasPG, Free AgentIsaiah Thomas underwent resurfacing surgery on his right hip back in May but says he'll be ready for the 2020-21 season.
Hip injuries have dogged Thomas for the past three years, and hopefully this procedure can get him back to full strength. It's been quite the fall for IT, who went from King of the Fourth in Boston to out of the league by the end of the 2019-20 season after being waived by the Clippers following a deadline trade. His size and defensive limitations will always be working against him, but if Thomas can get health back on his side he'll offer a low-cost scoring option with plenty of upside. Given the economic realities of the NBA these days, expect teams to show interest if Thomas can prove he's truly healthy.
