Jonathan Givony of ESPN is reporting that the sense most teams are now getting is that the Wolves will select Anthony Edwards with the No. 1 overall pick.

Last week, ESPN reported that most NBA teams were working under the assumption the Wolves would select LaMelo Ball if they kept the top overall pick. Ball and James Wiseman would have some positional overlap with Karl-Anthony Towns and D'Angelo Russell so it makes sense to go with Edwards but a trade can’t be ruled out at this point. A versatile scorer with good size, Edwards would probably start for Minnesota if he gets selected by the Wolves.
