Several teams around the league expect the Nets to decline a $5 million team option on Garrett Temple, according to Ian Begley of SNY.

Temple averaged 10.3 points and 3.5 rebounds per game last season with the Nets, providing solid leadership on and off the court. His option for next year seems to be a tad expensive though and Brooklyn’s priority is to bring back sharpshooter Joe Harris. The Nets would love to re-sign Temple to a more affordable deal but he should have plenty of suitors regardless.
