LaMelo Ball

Kevin O’ Connor of The Ringer is reporting that Michael Jordan has "given his stamp of approval" for the Hornets to select LaMelo Ball at No. 3 if he's available and the team keeps the pick.

Regardless of all his flaws Ball is still considered by many to be best prospect in the draft, even though he would be an awkward fit for the Hornets, the Wolves and the Warriors. Charlotte is no longer believed to be seriously considering Onyeka Okongwu at No. 3 and there have been rumors of trying to trade up in order to select James Wiseman, but nothing has materialized as of yet. At this point it seems highly unlikely that Ball slips past the No. 4 pick but a trade could turn things upside down and land him to a better basketball situation.
