James Edwards III of the Athletic is reporting that the Celtics made an offer for Christian Wood but Detroit wasn’t interested in that offer.

It’s not really surprising to see Danny Ainge, one of the sharpest GM’s of the league, targeting an underrated guy like Wood. Detroit is reportedly very active in trade talks and Wood could be a trade deadline winner if someone like Markieff Morris gets moved.
