Donovan Mitchell

Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports is reporting that Donovan Mitchell and the Jazz will finalize a five year extension worth roughly $170 million when free agency opens in mid-October.

Mitchell finished the series against the Nuggets averaging 36.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.9 assists, while shooting 52.5 percent from the field and 51.5 percent from beyond the arc. He was beyond incredible and he absolutely deserves to sign the extension which the Jazz will gladly offer him. He is still only 23 and with lots of room for improvement while next year he will again push for a position in the fantasy top-30.
