Buddy HieldSG, Sacramento KingsBuddy Hield only saw 15 minutes of action on Saturday against the Clippers, scoring seven points with a 3-pointer and a steal.
Issues between Hield and the Kings have been festering for a while now, and it seems like there’s been a total breakdown of trust between player and organization. Kent Bazemore had a big game which might help explain this, but Hield is definitely trending downward. If his minutes continue to stay in this range then all bets will be off, but Hield should still be able to deliver middle-round value as long as he has a reasonable workload. And with the way the Kings pull the rug and then go right back to him, this is a great buy low moment for a guy bringing back early round value this season.
