Buying low is always a good idea for players with big upside, and whether it’s via trade, or more likely, via free agent pick up, these five players (mostly) fit that mold today.

Jordan Walker, 3B/OF

DO NOT PANIC DROP JORDAN WALKER. For all of the negativity that has surrounded the Cardinals’ early poor performance this season, Jordan Walker’s offense was a lone bright spot before this past week. Starting his career off with a 12-game hitting streak was a pleasant surprise, but his raw power had just been starting to show after the second week of the season. With the majority of the rationale for his demotion related to his defense, and some questionable decision-making on the part of the Cardinals front office, Walker’s upside still remains sky high. If you have him on your fantasy team, don’t drop him, and if he’s a free agent, go pick him up. It shouldn’t be long before we see him back in the big leagues, and making an impact upon his return.
