Keeping an eye on the schedule and taking advantage of matchups that no one else noticies is key this time of year, especially in your playoff weeks.

Let’s take a look at who is available.

2B Michael Arroyo (1%) – SEA

The Mariners have Cole Young at second but his struggles vs. LHP is becoming a problem. Enter top prospect Michael Arroyo and, OH BOY OH BOY, who do the M’s face this week and where do they face them? Well it’s Jeffery Springs, Gage Jump and Jacob Lopez, three straight lefties and they face them in Sacramento, which is basically just a second Coors Field. Arroyo should get all three starts this weekend with favorable matchups in a very favorable park. In between AA and AAA, he has 18 homers, 17 steals and a .283 average as he maintained a great 16% K%.
