• Another week, another round of famililar names and some key new faces to help your fantasy squads.

    Here is the article layout:

    • Double-Check Zone: Players who should be on a 12-team roster, but whose roster percentages suggest you need to make sure they’re not on your wire.
    • Standard Leagues: Players worth an add in standard leagues with a potential path to value over a decent stretch of time (or the season).
    • Streamers, Maybe More: Players on a hot streak or a path to short-term value with a smaller chance of long-term upside if certain things break their way.
    • Watch-List: Players who may not quite be surefire adds yet, but should be monitored in case they trend up.
    • Deep Leagues: Lower-rostered players who should be available in 14-team or 16-team leagues and beyond.
    • Weekend Watch:ย A quick look at teams with strong or poor weekend schedules if you’re planning on some very short-term pickups.

    Double-Check Zone

Most of these players will be rostered in competitive leagues, but we get just enough questions about them to warrant another call-out. These are your priority adds and if anyone on this list is still available, thank your lucky stars.

    Jrue Holiday (53%)
Key Note(s): Might be dropped through bad schedule and slow ramp up

Holiday was a top-40 player pre-calf strain and while he may not get back there, I think his assists and steals are going to be quite valuable when he ramps up fully. Make sure he is rostered.

    Anthony Black (47%)
    Key Note(s): Remainsmust-roster

I am not going to delve back into the numbers as Black has pretty much been in this article every week for the past month. I am placing here to say hold him when Jalen Suggs (right MCL contusion) returns to assess how both of their roles evolve.

    Jabari Smith Jr. (47%)
Key Note(s): Points, threes, rebounds, decent defensive stats

Smith remains fairly under-rostered. He doesn’t do anything fancy but he is worth of the 11th spot on a roster in 12-team formats. Strong floor, low ceiling.

    Peyton Watson (43%)
Key Note(s): I have said everything already

Again, I have waxed poetic about Watson’s improvements as an offensive player and why he has an argument to start over Christian Braun if Braun ever gets fully healthy. Now, with Braun still battling a left ankle sprain, it seems more and more likely that Watson could just cement a rest-of-season role, even if the usage comes down a bit.

    Neemias Queta (40%)
Key Note(s): This is the last time!

Queta has possibly been in every one of these articles so far. While Luka Garza did challenge Queta briefly, as I said before, Queta offers more defensive balance to the rotation than Garza, who helps the offense more. Queta is the better fit and he is giving us the big-man stats needed to stick on 12-team rosters.

Honorable Mention(s): Jaden McDaniels, Donte DiVincenzo, Santi Aldama are all under 50% rostered

    Standard Leagues

These players are either approaching 12-team value or have already seized it but every fantasy league may not have caught on to that yet. They may not be guaranteed to hold ROS value but they are worth a look nonetheless as it may be a possibility, or there may at least be some medium-to-long-term appeal.
