We are in crunch time, so the playoffs will be arriving in a couple of weeks for some of you and as soon as next week for others. This will mostly be waiver wire-slanted as trade deadlines may have passed in some leagues, but I am still covering trade options, so don’t worry.

As always, here is a reminder of the differences in the scoring systems for ESPN Standard Points Leagues and Yahoo Standard Points Leagues.

Of course, we have a new format, which is Yahoo’s “High Score.”

The High Score System is: 
Points = 1 fantasy point each
Rebounds = 1 fantasy point each
Assists = 2 fantasy points each
Steals = 3 fantasy points each
Blocks = 3 fantasy points each

As a general rule: 

ESPN Standard Scoring will give a slight boost to players who are more efficient and get more defensive stats in addition the usual volume stats we want in points leagues.

Yahoo Standard Scoring will give a very slight boost to good rebounders and players who are high-volume offensive engines, even if they are inefficient, but turnovers still come at a cost.

High Score takes leaning into offensive volume at a higher level, meaning players who take a bunch of shots and get a ton of assists are greatly rewarded with absolutely no hits for inefficiency or turnovers.

Ty Jerome, Bennedict Mathurin, GG Jackson II, Naji Marshall, Gui Santos and Keegan Murray are adds from the previous article that I think generally speak for themselves. If they are still sitting around in your leagues, correct that.

Isaiah Collier has obviously been an add, Keyonte George’s possible return could make him shakier for a points league and I think his “floor” is easier to manage in 9-cat where being an assists specialist in 24 MPG works, but I would hold just to continue assessing and knowing what his ceiling is as well.

Ace Bailey was on my list and he is okay, but I that’s in the 28-31 FPTs/g range which is like borderline streamer level for a 12-team league depending on how competitive it is.

Jalen Smith left Sunday’s game with a calf injury again and if healthy, he remains a hold, but if not, at this point of the season upside isn’t going to help in win-now situations.

Maxime Raynaud

Two-week averages: 35.8 (ESPN), 36.33 (Yahoo), 36 (High Score)

I think this one is a pretty easy call, as you can see. The double-double upside equates to nice volume stats that translate well for fantasy points.
