Weather Impacts on Your Fantasy Players (Friday-Sunday, September 26-28)

  • The final weekend of the 2025 season is here. I’m not sure how a six-month daily grind can go so fast, yet here we are. So, here’s one last look at the weather conditions as we locate the best environmental conditions for our hitters to excel and boost us to a championship. Be warned: there are only a few temperature extremes so it’s a short list.

    TARGETS:

    This Weekend’s Best Hitting Environments

    Consider targeting fringe hitters in these series:

    • Kansas City at A’s (Friday-Sunday; Friday’s 85 degrees is the warmest MLB game this weekend; it’ll be cooler Sat & Sun so you’re using those two games based on the hitter-friendly stadium instead of warm weather)
    • Pittsburgh at Atlanta (Friday-Sunday; we can count on Atlanta for warm weather – in this case, 78-82 degrees – even when most cities have cooled off)
    • St. Louis at Chicago Cubs (Friday-Sunday; 78-80 degrees each game is favorable for our hitters)
