A couple of storm systems and a weak front will cause many showers and thunderstorms this weekend. The most likely ballparks to be impacted are in Minneapolis, St. Louis, Pittsburgh and Washington, DC.
There are some very warm weather games to target this weekend and several chilly ones to avoid. However, there aren’t too many weather-related targets/avoids early next week as temperature ranges at MLB host sites won’t be very wide.
Here are the best and worst hitting conditions based on weather forecasts for the next seven days:
TARGETS:
This Weekend’s Best Hitting Environments
- Miami at Tampa Bay (Friday-Sunday; the most “hot & humid” series of the next seven days with temps around 89 degrees with favorably high humidity each day but a chance of a brief thunderstorm, too)
- Baltimore at the A’s (Friday-Sunday; warm with temps near 88 degrees each game and no chance of rain)
Targets for Early Next Week:
- NY Yankees at Kansas City (Tuesday-Thursday; temps near 80 for all three games)
- Detroit at Baltimore (Wednesday & Thursday only; after a decent chance of rain for game one, Wednesday and Thursday’s games will be better with temps near 81 degrees and no rain)
